I worked on this Project during my time at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover, Germany. It was 2016 or so, and I don’t remember too much about it.
there was a version with drums, and two to three iterations until we found music that worked well.
This is one of the first few times I tried using a synthesizer. I wasn’t really a big fan of synths, and I am still not really on board. it’s a tool like any other. But I am warming up to the idea of using more synths in my music.
I think that the music works well here, because it supports the camera movement and the fading cuts between the shots. The music is swelling, and progressing to the next theme. the instruments are faintly fading in and out, the music is following visual ques, which solidifies the video.
I just think this is neat.
